Beginning of year 2!!!
Hi, everyone I'm Lori. I originally started here in 2006, had some set backs, but got serious in Jan 2013. I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes in July 2013 with an A1C of 7.7 my last test in September showed my A1C as 6.1 I achieved this through diet, exercise and medication. I am working hard to keep on track and hopefully not need any medications by July 2014. My goal this year is to do at least 2 5k's I have already signed up for my first in March. I'm very excited and very motivated. ...

I'm very excited and very motivated. Last year I lost 30lbs, this year I'd like to see at least 50 more come off and stay off. My program right now:
Healthy eating. Which for me means eating smaller amounts more often, eating more natural foods, and drinking more water.
Exercise: I usually walk/jog 3.19mi 5-6 times a week. My personal best is 53 minutes. When I started in Jan.2013 I could barely jog 3 houses, now I can jog a mile.
