January 2015 Here I am again. In the last 2 years I've gained and lost many pounds but am now 30 pounds over my ideal. I've joined a 30 kick start program online which I hope will give me motivation to get back on track. I hate exercising! In the summer I walk lots but in the winter it's too cold and dark so I do nothing and ignore my bike and treadmill sitting in front of me. think my biggest issue is portion control. I just eat too much. I know WHAT to do just can't stick with it for some reason. I'll be 45 in a few months and I need to start looking after myself better. January, 2012 This is the year I will reach and maintain my goal weight. I did reach it in October, but then fell off the wagon and am now up 11 pounds - GRRR!!

My Goals:
Aug 16th:

Stay within Spark Calorie Range;

Get adequate amounts of fibre & calcium;

Exercise 3 -5 times/week (or more!)

Quit the yo-yo/binge cycle and live a normal, healthy life.

My Program:
I am doing a high protein diet with only non-starchy carbs. I don't like meat alot so I supplement my diet with a protein shake. Lots of fruits, veggies and greek yogurt.

Personal Information:
I will be 40 on March 13, 2011 and wanted to be at my goal weight of 135 pounds by then but it's likely not happening so I will be happy with the progress I've made so far!

Other Information:
I live with my boyfriend of 6 years with my Border Collie Cross, Angus and our kitty, Whiskey. We love to travel and try to do 2 trips/year.

    To love my body and my self today. I do not have to weigh ten pounds less, have longer hair, or to have my degree in my hand to have worth. I have worth just as I am, and I embrace that power.

    To recognize my body's strengths.

    To no longer put off the things that I wish to experience because I am waiting to do them in a different body.

    To understand that a body, just like a personality, is like a fingerprint: a wonderful embodiment of my uniqueness.
