Hi, my name is Elizabeth 55 years old. I've had 7 kids ( 6 grown ) and gained considerable weight with each of them. I have 100 lbs to shed and am going to have a hard time doing it as I have multiple chronic health problems and can't get much exercise due to 3 slipped discs. I would love to hear from others in similar situations for encouragement and accountability. My daughter Megan is getting married August 19th, 2016 and I would love to be down to a size 14 dress, currently a 20 so my weight goal is currently 50-60 lbs in 6 months. My doctor says that's not so realistic but I'm going to give it my best shot.

My Goals:
My goals are to eventually lose 100 lbs. It will probably take a couple of years to reach that goal and that's okay. But I'd like to see a rapid start to it. I have so many health problems right now that are complicated by this extra weight and I would love to be healthy and energetic around my 9 grandchildren. I'm pretty happy with this tracking, accountability and encouragement program.

My Program:
Drink, drink, drink that water. At least 8 glasses a day. I eat every meal off a small plate so smaller portions are easier to enjoy without feeling robbed. Still working out food combos but doing okay I think. I need to eat more fresh fruits and vegis and increase my protein and fiber.

    That sounds very painful. I have a recumbent stationary bike I really like. It's supposed to be much easier on your back that a regular bike. Keep with the plan and I'm sure you will be successful. Weight like life has ups and downs. Keeping pushing!

    Keep up all the hard work, log everything and It will pay off. I was stuck several days at 196.5 and getting really frustrated. Truth be told I was gone alot and my diet wasn't as good as I would like but not horrible. Then today, can do it!
