I am married with a two and a half year old son. I wasn't exactly happy with my prepregnancy weight, so now I am trying to lose the lingering pregnancy pounds plus more...almost 3 years later! I have been a yo-yo dieter for as long as I can remember, and I am tired of it! I have lost weight and gained it back so many times I can't even keep track. I've tried every diet out there, and even the ones that cost me hundreds of dollars failed when I didn't follow through. I've recently realized that I am a binge eater, and I'm trying to recognize patterns and behaviors, but it's not easy. People look at me and say I "carry my weight well" or they would never guess my size or weight. That doesn't matter to me. I'm unhealthy and unhappy and I need to do something about it.

My Goals:
I have a few goals in mind, and I'm sure as I progress, my goals will change.

I want to lead a healthier lifestyle. I do not want to set a bad example for my son as he gets older.

I want to feel good about myself again.

I want to be at a healthy weight before trying to get pregnant again. I wasn't at a healthy weight when I got pregnant the first time, and it has made losing the weight even harder.

I want to lower my blood pressure.

Lastly, as shallow as it may sound, I'd really like to be looking fabulous when I stand up in my sister's wedding in May.


My Program:
I am currently making an effort to eat healthier. I pack my lunch or go to Subway. I am trying to fit in time to exercise, but it's hard, so I need to figure out how to manage my time to get to the gym.



Personal Information:
I currently live in Warren with my husband, my 2 1/2 year old son, two dogs, and a cat.


Other Information:
I have been a yo-yo dieter for a long time. Before becoming pregnant, 194 was my heaviest weight. Through Weight Watchers and daily workouts, I got down to 150, and I was happy with that. Once I got married, I started gaining weight, and at the delivery of my son, I weighed 234. I am determined to not be that weight again. I'm going to get healthy!
