Updating my page on January 9, 2010, I noticed nothing has changed. I still want to lose about 25-30 lbs. I have gained weight over the last year. Actually, I gained 12 pounds. I tried Kickboxing (which I loved but it was too expensive) and Weight Watcher (which did not help) so I'm back to square one. Time to change the game plan. I didn't make any New Years resolution but I did I begin this week strong on Sparks tracking my food and exercise.

Updating my page on January 9, 2010, I noticed nothing has changed. I still want to lose about 25-30 lbs. I have gained weight over the last year. Actually, I gained 12 pounds. I tried Kickboxing (which I loved but it was too expensive) and Weight Watcher (which did not help) so I'm back to square one. Time to change the game plan. I didn't make any New Years resolution but I did I begin this week strong on Sparks tracking my food and exercise.
Once the weight is gone I believe I will fill better overall, I will have more energy, my clothes will fit better, and I will be healthier. I am still down that pants size but my body has changed. I have more weight around my middle and have these love handles.
I'm looking forward to reaching my goal. In the meantime I still love myself in my current state. I love to travel and spend time with my friends and family.
I made a decision that I will not DIET anymore but I will change the way I eat. I LOVE food. There is nothing better than a great meal shared with friends who also LOVE food. I also love to cook and have been cooking more from scratch than getting prepackaged food. My bff (one of my bffs, lol) my daughter, works out with me and also shares my love of cooking and eating. We make a pretty good tag team.

I'm commiting to going to the gym 3 days a week
Weight training 2-3 times per week
track my food and exercise daily on Sparkspeople

I currently reside in the Richmond, VA area. I have been here for a couple of years and really like it. I love to read, travel, and most of all spend time with my FAMILY and friends! We always have a great time when we get together.
