I use to be active, playing at anything, then my kids grew up, moved away and now my life has gotten so boring! As I'm approaching middle age (whatever # that is) I have been surround by so much illness and death but I have also been surrounded with so much life being lived by all of the little ones who just have fun. It's time to get motivated and turn my old self around and become the self that I know I can be. Getting healthy and active is my primary focus. The healthier and more active I get, the weight will fall off and as the weight falls off, I'll have more energy to play! The time is now..live life and Play!

Fitness Minutes: 997

My Goals:
My primary focus is to lower my calorie intake to 1400 per day
Drink 8 glasses of water a day,
Get white foods and sugar out of my diet.
Adding activity Everyday.

My Program:
Tracking food and water intake. Thanks to this site, it's never been easier.
Monitoring my portion control, walking a min. of 30 min. a day, drinking 8 glasses of water and including fruit on a daily basis.

Personal Information:
I'm live in central Illinois with my fabulous husband. I have two grown married children and two wonderful grandsons; 8 and 6 and our 2 loving dogs, 15 year old Billy and 6 month old Zeke.
I work part time doing office work and volunteer 2 days a week at my grandsons elementary schools

Other Information:
I love to read most anything but at the time I'm into; autobiographies, mysteries, self help motivation books. I'm also a sucker for cookbooks; I love to cook healthy quick easy dishes.
