I am 62 and always taken care of everyone else. I have always put other people in front of myself. I have regained my weight from when I first started Sparkpeople and way more so I am restarting and this time I refuse to loose my focus!! It is not just about weight it is about fitness as well. I WANT TO BE YOUNGER NEXT YEAR!!!!

Fitness Minutes: 80,233

My Goals:
My first goal is to get down to 150 by early summer. Once I'm there I will reevaluate my fitness. I would like to go lower but my body and age is much different than years ago so I want to set realistic maintenance levels.

Update July 2009 -I didn't make my original goals even though I have worked very hard and got into the lower 160's - I am still working on my original goals.

Update Sept 2012 - Got to 150 but lost focus. I am not only refocusing but reset all my streaks and changed my goal wight to 140 by 2013.
Update Sept 2013 went back up to 177 going to get back to the 150 by Dec 2013.
Update April 2019 went up to 210 the worst in my life and have been here for more than a year continually gaining a little bit at a time. My goal is to be at 165 by 10/19/19 which is aggressive but if I can getting my body clicking again it is attainable.

My Program:
To workout on strength 2-3 days a week and cardio for 5 days a weeks.

To stay in my calorie range with taking into account all facets of nutrition for a good balance.

Personal Information:
I'm a native South Floridian but am currently on the Treasure Coast in Vero Beach.
I'm always looking for a workout buddy in the area.

    The flowers and blossoms are filling the air with the smells of Spring. This is the time to start preparing for the Summer. Are you ready to join a Challenge? The Biggest Loser Challenge is looking for members for it’s next Challenge starting the first week of June. The challenge consists of 11 Teams, that participate in 10 weeks of Nutritional and Fitness Challenges. These challenges can be modified to fit individual needs, allowing members of all abilities and dietary needs to participate.
