I love DOGS, writing, photography & photo-scrapbooking, piano (classical & sacred), and have many more interests!

I lived in Alaska for 32 years where I raised my two sons, then in 2004, I went to Florida for two years--two glorious WINTERS! In Aug 2006, my son, two grandchildren, and I moved to Idaho where I grew up, and where my son was born. This is where we plan to stay the rest of our days!

I have come' full-circle' with my return to Idaho and can't think of a ...

In the meantime, my HEALTH brings me to this site, and I desperately need to TAKE CHARGE of health issues if I'm going to be around to see my g-kids grow up! Spark People has the tools, and, with God's help, I CAN DO IT!

My Goals:
Overall Goal: To lose 10% at a time, in four segments, to goal weight.

My DAILY GOALS are to record the food I eat, drink 8 8-oz water, to walk, and to journal.



My Program:
 The Ultimate Weight Solution: The 7 Keys to Weight Loss, by Dr. Phil McGraw ~ EXCELLENT for motivation and common sense!

Jan 2009 ~ My doctor recommended South Beach one year ago. I've been slow to read/ study/ implement the program...never did Get-With-It!

Apr 2010 ~ Went through the C.H.I.P program, with Dr. Hans Diehl, Loma Linda Lifestyle Center, CA. Basically, I'm eating vegetarian again, and I LOVE it, and I'm seeing very positive results!

    I see you live in Idaho now - I've never been there, but hear it's also a beautiful place!

    Good luck with your spark journey! It can be a struggle at times, can't it? I'm finding it hard to get back on track now that we're home from vacation. But, we'll do it!! We can do this! :)
