I lost 48 lbs. three years ago after a very traumatic life experience. I have regained 30 of it and I want to start losing now before it is all gained back. I want to lose a total of 40 lbs. which would be a healthy weight for me. I want to be able to be active without pain. I have had several injuries over the last few years that have hindered my weight loss. I am trying to keep moving in the right direction so I can be healthier and enjoy living and doing things with my family and friends.

I want to lose 40 more lbs. I want to exercise at least 5X each week. I will track my food each day.

Spark People to track my food and exercise. Walking, biking or Curves 5 days a week. Blogging to network and record my feelings and experiences. Working with a health coach. Short term goals - lose 10 lbs. by June 16. Attend Curves 3X/wk.

I live in MI, and I'm a Christian homeschooling mom.I love my family! I also teach Latin at a local Christian School. I enjoy reading, art, especially altered books and mixed media, x-country skiing, hiking, biking and sailing.

At this stage of my life I am really enjoying art, which is a new venture for me. I love to read, both for pleasure and for learning. I'm not big on watching tv or movies, but I am a huge fan of the Detroit Red Wings.
