Back again, after a rather long break..

Sparkpeople in the past has been such a huge motivator for me. The tracking tools, resources, and wonderful people really do make a difference for me. I so look forward to touching base with old friends and making new ones.

This journey is all about finding a personal satisfaction, knowing we have dedicated ourselves to being the best version of ourselves we can be. We all struggle with bumps in the road. How we overcome the road blocks is what defines us. Onward and upward...Love to all.

I'm hoping to use Sparkpeople to encourage consistent weight regulation.

My Program:
Flexitarian diet. Just can't give up the fish :)

Walking: 5 days 10K per.

Strength training: 4-5 days a week

I plan to journal, and track all activity and monitor my water intake.

Personal Information:
I live in Alberta, Canada at present, but have spent most of my married life moving around. I call Canada home now, but was born and raised in the UK.

Other Information:
Cooking, music, gardening,,hangin' with the movies,foreign films, yup that's it in a nut shell.

    Thank you so much for leaving me a comment but I must admit to you I did not actually lose 9 pounds. my highest weight was at my doctors office with clothes and shoes. the second time I weighed was at home a few days later and first thing in the morning with no clothes,shoes and no food or drink. I was so deeply sad when I was at the doctors office and saw my weight. right then and there I knew I was coming back to sparkpeople and get the weight off. I love this site and my friends, so very glad to have you as one of my friends.
    I have had a bad 4 years and I ate and my weight kept going up but I didn't care until I saw my weight at the doctors office. life is very hard some times, I have had MANY, now I will come here instead of over eating.
