It's about time I take control of my life!


I'm 290 lbs. 290 lbs.! How did that happen? I'm sickened by the thought of being so close to 300 lbs. and I need to do something about it. I believe that my weight has now become a life or death issue, and I need help. I also need to realize this is going to be a long bumpy road, but well worth the journey.

My Goals:
I want to be able to climb a flight of stairs and not be winded. I want to be able to go into any department store and buy a pair of jeans. I want to live a long and healthy life and not leave this world until I'm ready to. I want to be able to see myself like my beanpole husband sees me.

My Program:
 Nothing concrete yet, except for being accountable. I am personally responsible for my success or failure, and they are directly related to my actions.

Hello! My name is Kate Demarest. I live in the frigid state of Maine with my husband Jeff and our two cats Dixie and Bella. I work two jobs and use that as an excuse to not go to the gym. However, my days of excuses are over!
