Hi and welcome! I just joined (again) at the beginning of October this year. I joined last year around the same time because, like you, I had recently stopped smoking and knew I was gaining weight.
I am so proud of myself for stopping smoking, and with God's help it was (I'm almost embarrassed to say) easy to stop. I smoked for 25 years. For me, having a cigarette after meals was my "signal" that the meal was over. When I stopped, the meals just went on and on. lol
So now here I am trying to lose at least 40 pounds (or more!).
I love this place and it has been a huge source of motivation and inspiration for me. I hope it will be for you too and if you want a friend, feel free to add me.
