Today is the first day of the rest of my life,today I will press the restart button.That's what I said to myself when I rededicated myself to a healthy life.I struggled for all of my life with my weight do to emotional eating.11 years ago after a year of dedication to exercise,healthy eating and living in a different Country. I lost 165 pounds.I kept it off for 3 years and was convinced I'd never "fall off the wagon". Then after post pardon depression, many personal issues,and exercise injuries.I somehow slowly stopped doing all I had learned in the years of losing and keeping weight off and ate my way to a huge(60 pounds or so) weight gain.I worked hard and lost it again,had more hard times,then gained again. I've spent the last 8 years gaining huge amounts of weight, then losing, then gaining and then losing again etc etc. I've never lost my love for exercise, although I've definitely scaled it back(from taebo to stability ball and weights).I am now 30 lbs heavier than I have ever been,I'm morbidly obese. I have NEVER stopped believing I can someday see the real me again though,I've never given up.I have always just said that well it will happen when I am less stressed.Well with four kids and realizing that life will never be less stressful.Also that I'm not getting any younger.I have decided there is no time like today. I'm tired of how hard it is to be this big, I want to be me again. And I'm ready to give it my all again. No more guilt for taking care of me and no more cutting corners. Today I'm choosing to love me too. Thanks for your inspiration and may all of you reach your goals.

    Hi! I saw your encouraging post on the Community Feed so popped over to your page. You are one valiant woman! I admire your persistence. Maintenance is a whole new thing, very different from trying to lose weight. I haven't got there yet so can't offer any personal experience but there are teams and lots of Sparkers who know how to stabilize themselves at the new weight. I wonder if they'll be helpful to you when you reach your goal (which you will - you've certainly shown you can do that!) and to me, too, if I ever reach mine... Anyway I hope all good success to you!

    It’s cold outside, but Spring is coming! Are you ready to join a Challenge? The Biggest Loser Challenge is looking for members for it’s next Challenge starting the first week of March. The challenge consists of 11 Teams, that participate in 10 weeks of Nutritional and Fitness Challenges.
