CBAILEYC
Hey there! We may end up volunteering for Race for the Cure rather than racing/running it. It's great that you've got it in your site! Keep at it! C~ 2790 days ago

RUNNERRACHEL for commenting on my blog about taking on new challenges! Yes, maintenance IS hard. Motivation comes in waves. I try to stay motivated (and not discouraged) by following Jessica Smith (10 pounds down on facebook), Spark People, Coach Nicole, Misty Tripoli and others who inspire me and do not make me feel inadequate. I don't like fitness magazines for the most part. As soon as I find I'm comparing myself, I stop looking at it. So a lot of fitness bloggers will make me feel that way and I stay away. Right now, I am motivated to do the Summer Challenge (Jessica Smith on YouTube), ride my bike (just got one!), stay active with my little girl and cook healthy recipes. I DO struggle. I have times when I am NOT motivated to cook or workout. But I keep going. That's what you have to do. Don't get bogged down in what you haven't done. Thanks for your sweet comment. We can do this! Maintain and live our healthiest and best life! 2839 days ago
I have to get consistent with exercise. Haven't been running because I am not allowed to--Physical therapy for old sprained ankle injury and I miss it so much! Walking is not enough...well, it is if I can do it consistently. I just have not been doing it enough and need to find creative ways....Elliptical and swimming would be perfect. I need to join a gym or YMCA because I have to do those things at least temporarily until I can run again which should be soon.
