I've decided it's time for me. I have 5 beautiful kids and a loving husband and have a great career as a Nurse. Now it's time to do a little work on me. Time to be healthier and happier. Time to gain control of my emotional eating. Time to be more active in my daily life.
I've decided it's time for me. I have 5 beautiful kids and a loving husband and have a great career as a Nurse. Now it's time to do a little work on me. Time to be healthier and happier. Time to gain control of my emotional eating. Time to be more active in my daily life.

My Goals:
My weight goal is to be under 200 lbs. [ Update: Goal reached on November 24, 2013 ]. My overall goal however is to be able to move the way I want. To have more energy. To feel strong and healthy. I want to be able to literally climb mountains with my family. [ Goal also reached, see " "New Heights " blog entry]

My Program:
 I'm taking baby steps at the moment. Cutting out most soda (only diet and much less of that); drinking more water and eating more fruits and veggies. Cutting back on sweets and junk. Trying to move more. I'm not setting any hard and fast rules I can break and give myself the excuse to quit. Just trying to do a little better every day.
