Jan 1, 2011 - Although I did not reach many of my goals that I had hoped to this past year I am so proud that I am still here. I will take the small things and will keep going with a renewed desire to do better!

Jan 3, 2010 - Something is different this year. I can feel it. I have such an overwhelming sense of good things to come! I'm going to try blog more. I think it helps me. Also I need to setup a goal and reward system.

June 8, 2009 - Almost a year older (Aug 9) and what a year it has been! I started my journey with Breast Cancer last August. I did really well with chemo and radiation but ended up 25 lbs. heavier :(
BUT... today is a new day and I will start being more active with the help of this wonderful site.

Mar 12, 2008 - I am 52 years old, married for 31 years and have 2 wonderful boys aged 17 & 19. I love animals and currently am the proud owner of a cat, a rabbit and lots of fishies.
Like a lot of us I would like to lose some of this excess baggage.

2011: (UPDATE - same goals... different year :0))

To loose 100 lbs, 10 lbs at a time!

My Goals:
This is what I WILL accomplish in 2011:

I always make resolutions. To me they are the same as making mini goals and mini goals work for me! I try to put a lot of thought into what I resolve to accomplish and never beat myself up if I don't do it. After all even misses are lessons learned.
So here goes:
1. 5 lbs a month - bye-bye
2. Walk for 30 minutes (4 X per week)
3. Drink 6 cups of water a day (I know 8 won't happen unless it is per week!)
4. De-clutter one annoying area a month (hallway closet I'm looking at you)
5. Meet up with my Sparks friends again. (I really want to do this a few times this year) I LOVE YOU GUYS!
6. Eat more veggies! 3 servings a day minimum. Fruit is not a problem for me.
7. Weigh-in on Sparks every monday
8. Weed out the Spark teams that aren't active or (sorry :0( ... lame-o)!
9. Blog weekly (right after my monday weigh - ins)
10.Practise random acts of kindness (aim for minimum of one a week)

My Program:
Stick to 1200 - 1500 HEALTHY calories

30 minutes cardio (most likely walking) 4 X a week

WII Fit Plus 4 X per week
