    The comment on my feed that you made about ice storms being beautiful....I took many pictures but my goodness it just did not show the actual beauty that the eye saw!! We were without power for 22 hrs but have a wood stove to keep warm and food was kept in cooler from fridge and freezer items in chest freezer so the only thing we lost was our breath by going UP & DOWN the basement steps....LOL...On the bright side....got my steps in emoticon

    Thanks for the pedometer goodie. I need it since batteries haven't arrived. Seems I purchased from the wrong buyer since there were many complaints about late, etc deliveries.

    Love Santa Barbara, youngest son and his wife went to UCSB. We've camped many times in Carpintera right along the railroad. Know Lompoc as well. I had thought maybe we had crossed paths back in the good 'ole days. emoticon

    I'm a Native Californian... lived in Redondo Beach for 3 years then moved to Walteria, spent all our summers at Torrance Beach. Moved to Huntington Beach the day I graduated from high school in 1965. Moved to Seal Beach in 1973 and have lived here since then (44 years)
