Hi! I am a mom of three awesome kids, who have grown up way to fast! I work from home and am trying to find ways to keep fit and active and lose weight. I have lost lots of weight (75lbs) and then gained back some of it and am not happy about it. Hmmm, no one to blame but me and I am taking responsibility for it.... when I realized that "I" gained the weight, then I realized that "I" am the one that can control it and lose it. Very empowering once I thought about it. One choice at a time. I am trying to think about each choice and say to myself "Will this get me closer to my goal?"

My Goals:
---To run a 5K in less than 30 minutes
----To complete a Half Marathon
---To get back to high school weight
---To learn to speak Italian

My Program:
----Track all food and water intake
----Move everyday!

I like to say that I try to "Exercise on purpose" everyday, even if it is only 5 or 10 minutes... I have been seen doing jumping jacks in the kitchen as I am waiting for the microwave. Or I have turned putting away laundry into a cardio event as well. :)

Personal Information:

Just discovered my love of running last year... never thought I would love running. I am working to improve my speed and endurance. I would love to do a half marathon this year...just gotta get brave enough.

Other Information:
I love Nicholas Sparks books, scrapbooking and taking pictures.

I have done Weight Watchers since 2009 and I love using Spark People right along with it. Spark People gives me the daily motivation that I need.
