Being petite, most of my life, I'd never given much thought into a diet or exercise plan. My weight issues really developed in 2009. I had two surgeries in two years, that coupled with a year of weekly air travel for work & then being stagnant working from home...my eating habits became skewed, my activity levels really decreased... couple that with PCOS due to Insulin Resistance and you've got the makings of my weight problem -- which is far too much for my five feet tall body. That was the past! With determination and support and my new SparkPeople family and the Grace of God, I know I'll meet all my fitness goals!

apologies...I don't blog much, I tend to put notes on my trackers...helps me to see my progress and my mindset at the time!

My Goals:
My overall goal is to loose fifty pounds..so I can get my short & sexy back, diminish my insulin resistance, alleviate PCOS symptoms and lead a healthy quality of life!


My Program:
I'm trying to follow the Insulin Resistance Diet: 3:1 protein to carb meal!

Couch to 5K! getting my body into condition to crave the workout! Doing Divas Half in December! Getting hormones in check!

Will Weigh-In on Sunday AM..then go to service and pray for Divine Intervention!




Personal Information:
I'm a native Floridian, currently residing in the Atlanta, GA metro & I'd like to be on a beach right now!

Haha! I've been in Tampa Bay now for a year and i've seen beach 3 times!
