My Goals:
I've reached many goals over the last year....

Most recent is that I'm no longer considered obese!! WOO HOO!! What a great feeling!

Now it's time for a new one... you may think that my next goal would be to no longer be overweight, but it's not! I feel great, my body is right on the border of where my Dr. wants me to be and I'm not in a hurry anymore. Losing 90 lbs will do that to you. :D

I think my goal right now is to just figure out me. What foods work best for me, what I'm changing in my daily life to maintain this new lifestyle, what can I do to help others.

My Program:
At the beginning of my diet (Sept 2010) I used a Dr. recommended diet to help me lose weight fast. I was considered "Extremely Obese" with a BMI of 46!! It was very important that I get as much weight off as soon as possible for my health. NO it was not a dangerous fad diet! Just a very very strict one. It was Medifast.... however for the last few months (since June 2011) I have pulled away from this commercialized diet to learn how to live a healthy lifestyle on my own.

Through some trial and error I have found a well balanced way of eating. The weight loss is obviously slower, but I'm on my last 20 lbs and it's not imperative that I lose this weight for my health anymore. Sparks people, friends, trainers, Dr.s, books, etc.... all of these have helped me to find a well balanced way to live my life that is right for ME.

I recently completed the C25K running program and ran my first 5k early in the summer. Now I'm working towards training for a triathlon. So far, I'm

Personal Information:
Mom of 3 teen aged boys, and one unruly husband! ;)

Christian and am just getting back into Sparks page thanks to some good friends of mine.

Other Information:
Love dogs, music, theatre, singing, church, and almost anything girly. Also love to hike, camp.

Very involved with my church and thank God for all that He's done for me.
