Hello, my name is Elizabeth. I am 22 and married to an amazing man. I still haven't figured out how he can put up with me day after day. He is definitely a blessing to me. I am an accounting major at the local university. I have been struggling with my problem since I was in 5th grade. That is when I started gaining weight after I got sick and my legs swelled so much I couldn't walk for a week. After that, I kept gaining weight. Then in 9th grade I went on birth control because my periods were incredibly irregular. I wish someone had informed me that the depo shot wasn't a good one to take but, I figured that out when I gain 50 pounds in two months. That major weight gain sent me into a major depression which only led me to gain more weight. Since that shot, I have gained an additional 65 pounds all on my own. I gave up for the longest time but, I'm tired of being fat. There is no other way to put it.

My Goals:
I want to feel good about myself. I want to feel comfortable in my own skin. I want to like myself for who I am. I want to like what I see in the mirror.

My Program:
I tried the isagenix program but, I had issues staying on it even with my husbands help. I haven't learned how to stick with something yet. Whether it be I just haven't found the determination yet or I don't know, maybe it wasn't for me. It's probably just another problem I have. SO, I'm just going to try to exercise and start off slow taking things one day at a time. Logging my food and cutting out the bad things day by day. Baby steps.

Personal Information:
I am 22 years old and studying to become an Accountant. I am married to the most amazing man in the world who is studying to become a Civil Engineer. We have 3 children. A German Shepherd named Bella (4 years), a Chihuahua named Junior (5 years), and a cat named Moby (10 years). I brought Moby into the relationship. He is the grand-cat of my first cat Tiger.

Other Information:
“I'm selfish, impatient and a little insecure. I make mistakes, I am out of control and at times hard to handle. But if you can't handle me at my worst, then you sure as hell don't deserve me at my best.”
― Marilyn Monroe

“I believe that everything happens for a reason. People change so that you can learn to let go, things go wrong so that you appreciate them when they're right, you believe lies so you eventually learn to trust no one but yourself, and sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.”
― Marilyn Monroe

    Hi Elizabeth,
Stopping by to see how your day is going. I started a discussion on the isagenix team so we can chat there about our days. Come over and tell how your day went. Is the shakes getting better? Mine arrive on Monday.

Thanks for adding me as a friend.

I like the suggestion someone gave you on one of your blogs -- to find additional ways to measure progress, such as how you feel, amount of energy, how your clothing fits, etc. (I recommend taking waist, hip, bust measurements too. That's even more accurate that guessing how your clothes fit.)

But, don't throw out the scale. It helps to keep you accountable.

Ultilize all of the above. And, if you see progress in any of them, it's still progress. It is not unusual, for instance, for my weight to fluctuate daily, or even weekly. I look for monthly progress. But, I also look for progress in other areas, and I can usually pat myself on the back for progress in one area. That encourages me that I'm going in the right direction, and that soon the scale will move too. :-)

Twenty pounds in 13 weeks sounds like a do-able goal. But, even 10-13 pounds in 13 weeks would be enough to feel good. It would still indicate that you're moving in the right direction.

lol -- I talk too much. Feel free to use SparkMail to message me if you wanna talk!

Best wishes on your weight loss journey! :-)

    ~ Faith

Thanks for the note on the shakes. How was today? I want to hear more emoticon

I am going to order the 9 days system or products. I want to make sure I will 'like' enough to conintue before I invest in the 30 day supply.
