I was married at 130 pounds in June 2010 and had gained 45 pounds by December 2013. Oh no!

My initial goal was to be under 150 pounds before our 4th anniversary (June 2014) - I totally crushed that goal, weighing in at 143!!! It feels wonderful to finally be back on track! My final goal is to run an official 5k and maintain my weight between 125-130. I've ran MORE than 5k several times (YIPPEE!) on the treadmill and I've been consistently weighing in around 130. I'm pretty happy where I'm at. If the last five lbs come off great, if not, I know I'm healthy and this is where my body is comfortable.

It is worth mentioning that I'm under 5 feet tall. One thing I've learned is that I cannot (and should not) live the same lifestyle as my (mostly) male friends. They need more calories to maintain their larger, taller frame. Same goes for anyone actually... everyone has their own nutritional and exercising needs/guidelines/goals. Don't compare yourself to anyone else! We are all unique, and that's wonderful!

I've used SparkPeople before, and it's super helpful. Friends welcome!

Start: 12/10/13 - 175 lbs (highest weight ever)
Milestone: 2/19/14 - 160 lbs (halfway to my first goal!)
Milestone: 4/28/14 - 150 lbs (25 pounds lost!)
Goal #1: 6/6/14 - 145 lbs (30 lbs in 6 months, 5 lb/month)
Milestone: 6/6/14 - 143 lbs (beat my first goal by 2 lbs!)
Milestone: 9/29/14 - I ran 5k (treadmill) without stopping!
Milestone: 10/27/14 - 130 lbs
Goal #2: Maintain weight between 125-130

Dance classes (tap, jazz)

4 feet, 11 1/2 inches tall (and the doc said I'd be lucky to hit 5 feet tall... LOL - so close!!)

Other Information:
I LOVE the Cleveland Browns (no matter how much it seems like they hate me) and have been a season ticket holder for about 8 years now. I work as a marketing communications manager.

    Or if you are in Spotify, they have this "Spotify URI" whatever that means, I forgot -
    But I think that basically means you can go to the search bar and look for me as MSDRPEPPER and it should show all the playlists that I have opened to public (I don't remember if I have many in the way of private playlists, but as a general rule of thumb, the playlists I've created around the various SP blogs on workout music all start with "SP - (name of blog title as Playlist name)....

    Hope that helps! Some of this music isn't my taste, necessarily as I'm a child of the 60's and 70's, but oh well, part of staying young as we get older is listening to new music, or at least, that's my opinion!!
