RUTHIEBEAR
I have decided that where I look, whatever I am doing, I am going to find things to be grateful for. Instead of focusing on anxiety I am going to be thankful. How about you? Ruthie 11 hours ago

Thank you SO MUCH for your goodie with the massage and your sweet thoughts! I wish I could really have a massage! As it is I'll just go for nice walk as the weather is great here. I hope it' sunny and bright where you are, too! Hugs, CJ 13 hours ago
SWEETENUFGILL
Oh, thank you so much Donna - the balloons were lovely! I had a nice trip to the gardens - there were only about 6 other people there at the time, so I was relaxed about ambling around. Things are springing into life! Yes, I love my new glasses - my distance vision is getting better, and my close-up vision is getting worse, so there was a small adjustment. The optician explained that my existing glasses were now too strong for me over distance, and that can be a negative thing for the eyes. It was too complicated for me, but he said that the distance vision improvement sometimes happens as people get older. Most of the test is now done by machine, so it felt very 'safe' - he said he'd only have to come in close (!) if he saw anything he was concerned about on the photographs. Well worth it to get them checked. I wish the dentist was as easy - I haven't seen a dentist for about 3 years now - and seems like everyone is in the same boat (unless lucky enough to be going private already - even the private dentists are not taking new patients). I think it's awful that we've effectively lost our NHS dental services. I'll put a couple of photos from my excursion in a little blog today -then you can see them.
