Ahhh as we age,,,,life throws new aches and can, has for me chronic health issues which are very painful

For months now have been having hair line fractures in my left foot. Eh, its been a problem foot for many years. Back problems which thanks to starting off doing chair yoga, then beginning yoga,,to now at a good workout level WHEN foot allows(easily go back to the chair or beginning yoga,,,any movement is better then NO or little movement) which in 20 minutes(rarely do I need to do up to 40) takes my back pain from an 8 on a pain scale of where of 1 to 10. The 10 is worse than child labor,,,,lol my kidney stone this past summer was a 10!! At an 8 I don't dare to breathe!! Soooo yoga gets it DOWN FAST to a 1 or even 0 pain!!! MUCH more affective then ANY pill!!

I belong to various challenges of which help me to be who I'm today!! The 5% Challenge (On the Spirited Under team as the Motivational Leader) and also on the Biggest Loser Team(On the Invincible Indigo team).

My Goals:
Starting April 7th thru June 2nd 2018:

To lose 5% of my weight

For April my goal is lose 4 lbs. Its a struggle, will figure out why.

that I will exercise to the best of my ability,
that I will watch my portions and avoid mindless eating,
that I will avoid or limit unhealthy foods,
that I will try to get enough sleep,

that I will always try to make healthy choices even when stressed,
that if I slip, I will get back on track with the very next opportunity,
that I will keep a CAN DO attitude, or ask for Help,
and that I will support my fellow pack mates

2018 Spring 5% Exercise Commitment. What type of exercise will you do? How many minutes and how often will you exercise? From 40 on a very bad day of exercise mins to an average of 60-90 minutes to a PAWsome day of 120 or more mins of exercise a DAY. The 40 will also be a resting day if I take one. Hate sitting around.

Cardio : Everyday its a favorite, but not just walking

Recently I've added in hoola hooping!! I could NOT make it go around even ONCE!! I simply REFUSE a piece of plastic win!! I kept trying!! It IS like a bike!! Once you get back into the groove,,,Woohoooling!!!

I've also added back in aerobics!!

PLUS Leslie Sanone walking(walk a mile in 15 mins right in our home in a space of 3'X3'!!) as my foot allows,,,,,won't be often,,but I love doing it!!

Have you got your gym clothes, runners, water bottle, etc. ready to go? Ohhh YES And my 2 hoola hoops, Plus hand weights and resistance bands for my fo



Personal Information:
I live in Maine and LOVE this time of year. Awww and my great grandson. He's a little pistol at 9 months old. To cute!

I'm also OWNED, yes I'm OWNED. Lol by Izzy a 7 Yr old tiger cat. Dogs are owned, cats OWN US. She's a very caring sweet little thing.


Other Information:
I DO NOT like the words "YOU CAN'T"!!! Where there's a WILL there's a WAY." It may NOT be the traditional way, but if we look for it, it'll be there. No matter where are on our journey we are HERE thus already an improvement.
