Thank you. I don't mean to sound wrong and I know I'm not fat - but when I put back 6 lbs in about a month, I'm afraid of setting a pattern. And I bought all new pants and if they don't fit - it's not a pretty picture, lol. Old lady with sagging skin, heheheheh. Truly it needs to be covered!

My sister keeps telling me that I'm at a good weight, even having gained back some, and my doctor was happy to hear I'd put back some pounds - I have to tell you, I never thought I'd live to see the day when anyone would tell me I could stand to gain a few pounds.

I swear, I never intended to go this low. Losing my BIL, and losing Ray and then my sister moving to Alabama just devastated me. All within little more than a month. That's how I lost the weight. I basically gave up. If not for Bubba, I don't think I'd be here now.

Just do the best you can and remember, you have to live and we need to eat to live. Maintaining is a definite Win-Win in my book.

I'm trying to not be so hard on myself for being human. I'd rather weigh 200 again and still have my BIL, my sister & Ray. Enjoy your family - trust me, they're priceless and precious. Even when we get annoyed at them, they're awesome, lol.

Oh! I only have my computer space, my bedroom and 1 chair.

Bubba has a 3 bed brick, lol. One spare bed has a twin daybed, the other just "stuff" all around. He likes to hide here & there and wait for me to go looking for him.

I am still on the fence about the gym, but I've sort of been told that I get enough walking outside and shouldn't be using a treadmill. I have my sister's HUGE Elliptical and Ray's Stationary Bike, but they're mostly clothes collectors. I have until the end of October to decide about renewing. And I still have my collection of Walk Away The Pounds videos.

How you doing in the 5%? So far, I'm not doing at all.

    Love you,
    lnda & bb

I was feeling blue today - depressed - so thank you, you brightened up my day by just caring.

Yes - Bubba was a definite God-Gift to me. 4 months after Ray's passing, I realized that without Bubba, I would have followed Ray to the grave.

But Bubba also needed me and now he needs me again. God knows who did this and HE will take care of it. I had to ask a neighbor today if he had relocated my Bubba and I was thankful when he said no. I didn't think it was him, but he is the only neighbor who had anything at stake because Bubba got into his Goat Pen recently. And I told him that as well as the fact I didn't think it was him but I had to ask.

31 years ago we had a dog chasing his goats in the field and I heard a gunshot. I called him immediately and told him that he only did what had to be done - I had tried to call the dog off but he didn't listen. He said, "Ms Linda, I didn't shoot your dog, I shot over his head." I said, shoot him if you must - he's chasing your goats. He said he couldn't shoot my dog.

He didn't and we found another home for the dog the same day. Turns out he was the best "goat herd" dog ever! and Ray's niece was thrilled to get him, lol. She said he was a natural and would gather and bring the entire herd up at one time.

So I really didn't think he would stoop so low as to take Bubba 20 miles away, remove his collars and dump him out and was glad that it wasn't him. But for this to happen twice in 3 weeks - we were told it has to be a neighbor. I bet this person is wondering how the heck I got him back, lol. God brought us back together, it was a divine miracle to get him back before he would have died. I still can't get him to go out at Dusk now. It was a heinous crime committed against an innocent. God will take care of it.

    Love you Donna,
    linda & The Bubba

P.S. You know, we always thought that dumped out dogs were dumped by their owners. Well, we were wrong. I am Bubba's owner and I didn't dump him out. Makes me wonder how many dumped dogs are stolen. There are a lot of mean people in this world.
