Hi my name is Amy. I been here awhile and every once in a while I lose my way and fall back into my old habits! I am trying to keep my self motivated and on track to a healthy happy me this year! I started out with weight watchers on Jan 3rd..but didn't really lose weight like I wanted to, so I joined Curves on the 27th...I really started to lose weight and most of all inches...when you have a lot of weight to lose I think inches is better then weight to lose even tho the two go hand in hand...
I am trying to eat HEALTH better, I know sounds weird...but what I mean is eat foods that make you healthier! No fried, fatty, processed foods! Eating more fruits, veggies and lean meats, red meat maybe 2 times a week and lean white meats, fish, chicken and turkey the other days with pork in there ONCE a week if that. Eating this way will help fight some cancers, beats heart attacks, outsmarts diabetes, protects against osteoporosis, lowers blood pressure and prevents kidney stones.
So here I go on a long journey to a happier me in 2012! I want to see the me I see in the mirror instead of what's actually there!!

My Goals:
RE started again on April 12 at 360.4.
First 6 weeks of being on Plexus I lost 10.4 pounds and 16.5 inches.
Working on my fist 30 day challenge to get myself beach ready or as close to it as I can before we go on vacation...I DO NOT WANT TO BE FLABBY in a bathing suit!!

My Program:
Plexus slim...THE PINK DRINK...
Water...and making better choices...the past 6 weeks I've been eating whatever, and not exercising...the next 30 days I will be adding exercise and better eating...

Personal Information:
I live in Kershaw SC. we are living on 20 acers in the country with chickens, pigs, cats, dogs and kids. Raising our food and enjoying the peace and quiet of country living!!
I am HAPPILY married to me best friend...he is my soul mate and my biggest supporter!

Other Information:
I'm starting this journey at
360.4, my goal is to be 180 when I'm finished! I'm 40 years YOUNG and refuse to be 41 and this heavy! My birthday is July 28 so I have a little time to lose some more weight and inches.

    Climb The Mountain

    I tried to climb the mountain today. As I inched my way up the path, I felt out of breath and had to turn back.
    I tried to climb the mountain today. But, It was so hot outside, I thought I had better stay in my nice air-conditioned house and rest up for tomorrow's attempt.
    I tried to climb the mountain today. On my journey, darkness started to fall and I was full of fear, so I had to return to a safe place.
    I was ready to climb the mountain today. But I had so may other things to do, so instead of climbing the mountain I took care of the much more important tasks; I washed my car, mowed the grass and watched the big game. Today the mountain will have to wait.
    I was going to climb the mountain today. But as I stared at the mountain in all it's majestic beauty, I knew I had no chance of making it to the top, so I figured why even begin trying.
    I had forgotten about climbing the mountain today, until an old friend came by and asked what I was up to lately. I told him about all my plans to climb that mountain someday. I went on and on about how I was going to accomplish the task.
    He stopped me and said, "I just got back from climbing that mountain. for the longest time I told myself I was going to try to climb it but never made any progress."
    "I almost let the dream of making it to the top die. I came up with every excuse of why I could not make it up the mountain, but never once did I give myself a reason why I could.
