I am a 34 year old pretty lady about 5ft 4inches tall but the problem is that my beauty within and without has been hidden behind this massive weight i carry around everyday. I have tried to diet but nothing seem to be working but I haven't given up yet. I hope this year will be my year. I wish to up 80lb. My fingers are crossed and I'm working very hard towards that. So please everyone, PRAY for me!

My Goals:
First of all I will love to live life in its abundance, be very healthy, not necessarily thin, I say this because I am an African lady and I sure love my curves, hence my target weight 155lb or 70kg.

I am taking it one day at a time. Right now I've lost 2kg and I must confess it is so easy to gain and lot difficult to lose. But my mind is made up this time and I ain't tripping no more.

So I'd love a little push, advice, scolding from you all. I pray that by this time come 2010, I'll be telling my own story.

My Program:
I've come to realise that too much of the right food is slowing my weight loss down, so for now, I'm sticking to just three meals a day and then I snack on fruits.

I trek for about 30mins from the bus stop to my house at least 4 times a week.

In the morning, I jump on the spot about 100 times, then I climb up and down my stairs 100 times, and then I do some stretches.

I also do a little bit of yoga but only on Fridays. I just hope these will help me keep in shape.

Though I still need to more so I'm hoping to go to the gym on saturdays.

    Thanks for the comment on my page! I do split workouts so I only work a couple body parts each day, so I get my full body workout done over 3 days, then I take a day off and repeat, I do 3-4 exercises per body part. As for the strength, my goal gives me the strength. I set the goal, and tell everyone about it so I can't back out. Believe me, I have days when I just don't feel like it, but I do it anyway because THAT'S WHAT CHAMPIONS DO! I know YOU are a champion! I used to do work out if I felt like it, but when you look at world class athletes or anyone who is top of their field, they don't just have discipline when they feel like it. So I had to take my mental thoughts to a new level! You can do it! - Tia
