My name is Britta. I am 21 years old. I am a senior in college, majoring in Education: 4th-8th grade Math and Science. I have been vegetarian since I was 12 years old. In the past six months or so. I have become very interested in and responsible for my health and wellness. A friend told me about this and I decided to join to help me continue my way down the road to healthiness. I love to exercise; being active makes my life much more enjoyable. Plant foods are my favorites- pretty much everything I eat is a fruit, vegetable, legume, or nut. I believe that we are much too dependent on animals as a food source, and I think that doing so is an extreme waste of resources. I have a bit of a weakness for bread, and it has been a part of my undoing. In March, I was actually at my goal weight, but as a result of injury and overeating, I gained back about 15 pounds. Perseverance is key!

Tone my skeletal muscles.

Lots of cardio exercising.
Strength training.
Yoga. Stretching

I am a future Science Educator of America.
I love Anatomy- the human body is amazing. The more you know about it, the better you can keep it healthy and strong. Science is my thing, and I love to learn about the world around me. I love nature and spending time outside, and I love to learn.
