    I also saw your post, and I understand completely. I'd see pics of myself and hate the way I looked. I'd hide from cameras. I finally got to the point that I knew I had to do it. It wasn't coming off on its own.

    I joined WW in 2006 (New Years). By June 2007, I'd gotten to 150. Stress, life, laziness... and 15 months later I've gained 50 of the 85 pounds I lost. I started very near where you are at (234.6), and promised myself I'd never be over 200 again. Yet, hello 206.

    So, I'm starting again. WW is the best program there is. Its not always easy, but it is worth it, and so are you.

    Use Sparkpeople. Use the teams, the boards, the tools. There are a few WW teams here, and it helps to have people count points (or do Core), right along with you.

    hi - saw your post on message board and thought i'd drop by. you've already taken a big step by signing on and chatting about how you feel. i had a similar recent realisation and after 2 weeks on spark i've lost 4lbs - i would have loved it to be 40, but hey - it s going to take some time.
    If you want to, lets keep in touch and follow our transformations!!!!!

    And also - weight is one thing - your character is much more important, don't let the "one thing" make you feel bad about your whole self.
