About Me


I began a weight loss journey nearly 8 years ago, got close to my goal and my life went into the spin cycle. I wound up gaining back all the weight I'd lost, PLUS 15 more pounds. Then I lost my 53 year old brother to heart disease this last December. I'm determined to beat the heart disease that took my brother, and mother 19 years ago, and to do that all this extra weight has to say GOOD BYE!!

    2) read and join any teams that you think you like
    3) get it know the people
    4) read some articles
    5) most of all :: have fun and enjoy yourself
    You are doing great, making progress every time you come in.

    My ages are 36, 31, and 18. They are the joys of my life and my youngest will be leaving the nest next Spring. He's going off to college then. The house will be empty or I'll be here by myself again.
