Thanks for the comment on my blog. That sucks that your husband wouldn't help with feedings or changing or anything. Did he not know before having a baby that they take WORK and that you should be a TEAM? Sorry but that makes me MAD! I breastfed so all the night feedings were up to me, but my husband did A LOT of diaper changes. There's no way he'd get out of feeding, changing, etc, for her since he watches her while I work in the evening. Ugh. I'm sorry he was being a jerk! As far as sleep goes, I know that the sleep deprivation was a MAJOR culprit to my PDD. I couldn't function. I would have dealt with Alexa's health issues MUCH better had I just been able to sleep. I look back now wishing I could have enjoyed her newborn-hood a little more. *Sigh* Not much I can do about it now except move on!
And also, Alexa sounds a lot like your little guy. She talks but only has a few words, mostly babble. She doesn't walk on her own or stand much yet. I think she CAN do it, she just hasn't realized how awesome life will be (for her!) once she actually starts walking. I worry about her, that she's not doing enough, learning enough, but I know she'll meet those milestones on her own time. I'm sure you little guy will too! 3061 days ago

Yes, hubby and I did the 5K on Saturday. My watch said my time was about 34:37, so a good 6+ minutes better than my time in 2010, I think. I would still like to be able to run a 10 minute pace some day, but I guess I've still got some work to do! (Hubby makes me sick, he ran a 22:20!)
How are things with the (no-longer-a) baby? Miss all your updates here!
