Update: 9/9/19 - I finished the Flab-U-Less BL Summer Challenge round at 249.2. Over the break I gained a couple back. So I'm starting the ABS-olutely Awesome Autumn Challenge at 251.4. I'm ok with the couple lbs. It was nice having the break so I didn't feel like I was deprived of anything. I SHOULD have continued working out though, the DOMS are KILLING me today lol

Update: May 25, 2019 - It's been a long time since I've been here. I've managed to get myself back to 278.2. In the last month, I've dropped the 8.2, so I'm starting over at 270. I can't continue to let this get so out of hand! I've lost probably close to 250 lbs total using Sparkpeople. Down 99 the first go round. Then back up I went and back down 60 or so. Back up, back down another 75 or 80. I need to STOP this cycle or it'll kill me!

Update: June 1, 2016 - I did it! I reached the 100 lb mark! With today's weigh-in of 210.8, I'm officially down 101.2 lbs!!! It's been hard to stay on track, especially with all my foot issues, but regardless how slow it was (maybe it just felt slow to me because of the unusual amount of yo-yoing), I made it! Now on to Onederland! June 8th is the start of my summer challenge and I'm saying it right now, for all the world to see, I WILL make it to 199 during this challenge!!! I've got 11 weeks from today to lose 11.8 pounds. That's MORE than doable!!!

Update: November 17, 2015 - I've been going through a lot of the "it'll be ok, I'll eat a healthy dinner" moments. Or "I'll just eat what I want this weekend and start Monday." I KNOW its the wrong attitude to have, but the self-doubt and inner demon takes over and I just feel powerless.
One thing I've noticed, larger than life, as I've gained back these 60 lbs, is just how closely my weight is tied to my emotions! I've never really thought I was an emotional eater before, but I am. And it's not just the eating, it's the depression and the absolute lack of will to even get up off my butt and MOVE!
So I'm starting over. I'm going to take baby steps to get back where I need to be. I know I have my short-term goals set starting at 5% loss, but realistically, my first goal is 1%, then 2, then 3. And even logging streaks on here, and tracking streaks. And 10 minutes of movement a day, minimum. I WILL get back to my happy place!

I've been overweight all my life. Last week I hit an all-time high. I'm determined to get this under control before it kills me! Not to mention, my toes look like sausages and that's gotta change! lol
