I am a breast cancer survivor (9 years). Before I was diagnosed I was a "little" over my goal weight but during treatment and now being on anti-cancer meds, I find myself 30 lbs. overweight. I am determined to find my self again. Recently started back at the gym, I am looking forward to sucess! If I can beat cancer, I can beat being overweight!

My Goals:
Having survived Breast Cancer and the treatments needed to do so, I have turned my focus to myself and started a plan to lose the weight I have carried for too long. My goal is to reach 150 for starters. Then I will decide if I want to re-set that goal number.

My Program:
First thing was to start Sparking. Second was to get back to the gym. Going to the gym was something I enjoyed many years ago (20 to be exact) but I let life get in the way of my goals. Then cancer. Today I am doing what I love and seeing results. I am going to just "keep on going on".

Personal Information:
I am an animal lover and am retired after 15 years in animal rescue work. Cats have my heart, but I love all creatures. I love the beach and the mountains and my ideal home would have the ocean in back and the mountains in front.

I also hate growing older and will do what it takes to stay youthful and active.

Other Information:
I was diagnosed as a "pre-diabetic" last spring but through the changes I've made in my diet and exercse, I am no longer in the catagory. Having a mom thats diabetic I will do whatever is necessary not to follow in her footsteps,
