I love me
Those three words are easy to say but not not so easy to say truthfully!
I know I need to learn to love myself right now in all my entirety and live the life I love, because losing the weight will not make me happy or solve life's demons. Granted it will make it physically easier to cope with life but it will not turn lemon into lemonade.
The change needs to come from within the mind and soul and the weightloss will follow. My emotional eating turned into a daily, ...

I know I need to learn to love myself right now in all my entirety and live the life I love, because losing the weight will not make me happy or solve life's demons. Granted it will make it physically easier to cope with life but it will not turn lemon into lemonade.
The change needs to come from within the mind and soul and the weightloss will follow. My emotional eating turned into a daily, chronic addictive habit that I use to self-soothe. There are good techniques to self-soothe and poor ones like emotional eating (that's me) and workaholic (that was me).
Why am I living my life to try and please everyone else...it is exhausting and impossible to please everyone and when I think about it, maybe I don't even know what their thinking but think I know. Confusing right...whewh no kidding!
Long-term success rate of people keeping off their weight is not very high, so why does almost every weightloss program only deal with calories in and calories burned (food and exercise)?
I am reading a book by Susan Albers called 50 ways to soothe yourself without food. It offers mindfull skills to end dependency on eating as a means of coping.
Unknowingly, I have become a threat to my most valued intimate relationship as I have placed the burden of comforting and "making me feel" loved on his shoulders.
It is time to learn how to love me and take back control of my future.
