CHOOSING Health is to Take the High Road~(read on)

ANKYLOSING SPONDYLITIS: That is the diagnosis given me when I was 28 years old! Was told by an Orthopedist that I would be crippled and in a wheel chair permanently in my forties and be disabled. I refused to accept that 'dooms day' sentence ..... After defying the crippling effects this brings, with my spine completely fused , I went through unbelievable pain and still have stiffness but ..... many years later, I continue working in health care full time, have centered my life around fitness and exercise and beat all odds!~A rheumatologist who treated me remarked, " whatever you are doing keep it up" ...(swimming and lots of walking) plus most of all, I am a believer.... And my faith in the Lord Jesus Christ has brought me through much peril into a place of victory and fulfillment..

Thursday: Well, still working our way through helping John. I am just stunned @ all this, but one day @ a time. Got the advice of an atty. friend of our who is expert @ eviction law, so I think we’re in good hands. Dusting that dang WonderWoman cape off yet again. Just hard to understand how a landlord could allow evictions of 99.9% of his tenants. MOST of those threatened w/eviction are slowly going back to work now. **SIGH** So discouraging.

Warm yesterday, but not quite as warm as Tuesday. And cooler today. That’s ok. Still nice. Did have rain showers overnight. Not sure if we’re supposed to have more today.

    HUGS and thankful Thursday.

Warm temps here, too. But in for a cool down I think tomorrow or Friday.

Otherwise, got a disturbing call from DS -- Had an eviction notice posted on his door. I am fuming. When the state supreme court overturned the stay @ home order, apparently that negated the no evictions notice. DANG IT! So now, it’s a matter of the process. It is just ridiculous that most of the tenants got eviction notices! What is the management thinking?? Guess they don’t want any income for their property. GRRRrrr. But the way the process works, John needs to first talk to them and see if an arrangement can be made. He HAS been working now, but . . . not sure of what’s going to happen going forward. Prayers.

Hi Pretty Lady, Hope your days are going well. I have not "spilled the beans yet" but June 10th we will be in a "New Home!" Woohoo! We have been busy, getting things done, which is a lot when your 69+ years old.....but, I truly can't wait.

I will fill you all in, once everything is completed. Fingers crossed!!!

    Hugs my friend,
    Fran
