Look at the flour used to make the bread. You are looking for the word "whole" Is is using a whole rye flour or just rye flour? Is it using whole wheat flour or just wheat flour?
For a one ounce serving, how many calories and grams of fiber??

I also find this one confusing. The more I read, the more I get confused too. But a simple rule of thumb I go by is if it is using bleached white grains, it's not all that good for you. But once a person gets to the whole grains, multi-grains, rye, etc. I just make sure it's in small amounts just to keep my carbs in check.
can some one please help me. what is better for you, whole grain or rye bread? i am curently eating whole grain bread but i love dark rye. i dont eat much bread, a loaf lasts me almost 2 weeks (i freeze it and only take out what i need) i want to do what is best for me nutritionally so your help is greatly appreciated
