I know I'm late on this, but for next time, I vote for BBQ chicken myself. Especially if you only have about 300 calories left again. Add some steamed broccoli and you're all set.

A lean cut of pork or chicken breast with BBQ sauce could be awesome with your baked beans. Toasted turkey "BBQ" turkey or chicken sandwiches (sliced turkey or ground chicken tossed in some BBQ sauce) on a whole wheat bun or open face on bread would be super yum.

Baked Beans on a baked potato is yummy, I also use chili style pinto and red kidney beans over a baked potato too, both are yummy...I also eat them all by themselves, like the other day, I had leftover baked beans for lunch...excellent source of fiber..

Veggie dogs. I like the Morningstar farms brand.

Someone suggested garlic bread in another thread.

I think it might be nice to have a salad with it too, or some sort of vegetable.

I like the sweet potato idea!
I will have to try that some time.

Chicken on the grill with Chili Lime Rub, yummy!

Pour them on top, and if you mush up the potato just a little inside, then the juices sink right in ...

I'm actually rather envious now, even if I do have fresh fish in half an hour being cooked for me!

mmmm... do you pour the beans on the potato, or serve separate?

Baked potatoes! A medium one only has about 200-250kcal, so you can also have a salad or green vegetable with it! But baked potato and beans is one of my favourite 'comfort' foods.

It's also easier if you cook them in the microwave for 5-10 mins per potato and then crisp them up in a hot oven for another 20 minutes.

Im crocking the boston baked beans (from sparkrecipes) right now and have no idea what to serve with them for dinner (taking into account I am also feeding a hubby, teenager and toddler)... help!

and, also taking into account I only have 300 cals left for myself for the day after my 1 serving of the beans :(
