The article in the post below is a great resource. If you even want to be more specific, a serving of grain, starchy vegetable or fruit would be the amount that would contain 15 grams of carbohydrate (or very close to this amount).
If you search the member-entered data you can find some serving/portion sizes. Alternately, there's a good resource at calorielab.com/index.html that lists all sorts of individual foods *and* restaurant foods. Even fast food.
I'm never completely sure about things other members enter here; sometimes they're good, but some people only care about calories, and that's all that will be in their "nutrition info". When I can, I always enter my own from the label on the package. The portion or serving the manufacturer lists is rarely what I expect it to be!

Is there a page anywhere on Spark that lists exactly what to count as one serving of complex carbs, fruit & veggies, etc? Or does anyone know of another site that would have such a list? Thanks for your help.
