For a quick cooking method: Trim the botttom stem and score with an X. remove any tough outer leaves. Put in a covered dish with a bit of water. Microwave for about 3 1/2-4 minutes. (Depends on Microwave) Spritz with lemon juice and serve! (You can try this with broccoli and other veggies rather than boiling.)

Oh I absolutely agree...roasted brussel sprouts are absolutely awesome. I can make an entire meal out of roasted brussel sprouts and roasted cauliflower! They are also really good in quick stir-fry's.

I tried my first brussel sprout at age 35 and was so upset that I had been missing out all those years. I love them!
Agreed they are great roasted (we grill them on skewers in the summer). If you don't have a lot of time they are still good microwaved until soft and then tossed with olive oil, garlic or garlic powder, paprika, and a little salt.

Mmmm, roasted brussels sprouts! I toss them with olive oil, add a little salt & pepper, bake at 400 degrees stirring them every 5 minutes or so. It'll take 30-40 minutes depending on how many you are cooking.

sprouts are delicious roasted!
take off the outer leaves if they are not already trimmed ones, cut in half, lay on a baking sheet and spritz with a little bit of oil and some black pepper, and roast in a fairly hot oven until browned.
Hi all, I recently purchased some raw brussel sprouts and was going to fix them with Tuna Steaks for dinner but am at a loss on how to cook them. We had fresh broccoli a few nights ago that I boiled and that turned out great but I am working on new things. I have never had these veggies fresh always frozen. Please help me. Thanks all
