Cheesy Tuna Garden Skillet

serves 6

1 (6 oz) can white tuna, packed in water, drained and flaked
1 (10 3/4 oz) can Healthy Request Cream of Mushroom Soup
1/3 cup skim milk
3/4 cup (3 oz) shredded Kraft reduced fat Cheddar cheese
1/4 cup (3/4 oz) grated Kraft fat-free Parmesan cheese
l teaspoon dried parsley flakes
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
2 cups (16 oz) canned sliced carrots, rinsed and drained
2 cups (16 oz) French-syle green beans, rinsed and drained
2 cups hot cooked noodles, rinsed and drained

In a large skillet, combine tuna, mushroom soup, and skim milk. Stir in Cheddar and Parmesan cheeses, parsley and pepper. Cook over medium heat until cheeses melt, stirring often. Add carrots and green beans. Mix well to combine. Stir in noodles, lower heat and simmer until mixture is heated through, stiring often.

HINT: 1 3/4 cup uncooked noodles usually cooks to about 2 cups.

HE: 1 1/3 protein, 1 1/3 vegetable, 2/3 bread, 1/4 slider, 13 optional calories

209 calories, 5gm fat, 17 gm protein, 24 gm carbohydrate, 505 mg sodium, 185 gm calcium, 3 gm fiber

Diabetic: 2 meat, 1 1/2 vegetable, 1 starch

1 cup = 4 points

I don't used canned carrots, I cook up a few sliced carrots and add to mixture.

That doesnt sound bad. But really was hoping for some ideas how to make it "new" This is a good looking recipe. But I need to make it like this only WOW IM ASKING A LOT :)

1 (12 ounce) package egg noodles
2 cups shredded low fat cheddar cheese
1 cup frozen green peas
2 (6 ounce) cans tuna, drained and flaked
2 (10.75 ounce) cans condensed fat free cream of mushroom soup
1 (4.5 ounce) can sliced mushrooms

Cook pasta to package directions.

Preheat oven to 425 degrees

In a large bowl, thoroughly mix noodles, 1 cup cheese, peas, tuna, soup and mushrooms.

Transfer to a 9x13 inch baking dish, and top with remaining 1 cup cheese.

Bake for 15 to 20 minutes in the preheated oven, or until cheese is bubbly.

My man is begging fo rtuna noodle gunk (as he calls it) I need some ideas of how to make it good. I don't lke the stuff too much. I feel it's bland and you don't get enough tuna to noodle ratio. So heres my ideas please share some of your own..I need it to be as low in calories as possible.
I thought about mixing the tuna and soup part up seperatly then pouring it over a bed of whole wheat sketti noodles. That way we can portion the meal better vs mixing it all together. it wouldnt be baked. But it's 100deg so not turning the oven on would be great. I just dont know how to make it taste better..and stay healthy. I would add sour cream or heavy cream but thats off limits.
