@ BRATT.... I believe when you love someone you should keep things interesting and new, do little surprises when they aren't expected, we have each others backs, we say I love you every single day and I still get excited when I see him, I still run to the window when he leaves for work and blow kisses to him, he calls me when he gets there so I won't worry about him, he texts me during his shift just to say I love you and I'll also surprise him with a few texts so that he knows just because he's at work doesn't mean he's not missed (little things).
Communication is key,respect is key, keep things spicy, we treat one another as we like to be treated, we show love to one another just doing the little things.
We have a lot of the same interests I love sports and I found a guy that loves them just as much and we cuddle watching football, hockey or baseball, we don't take one another for granted because you never know what the next day will bring.
He still opens up my door, tells me I'm beautiful when I know I look like a wreck, but we just love one another because we can be ourselves.
It doesn't matter that we don't have a lot , because we have one another, I appreciate the little things he does for me and he appreciates the things done for him.
You have to give a marriage or a relationship 100% in order for it to work and honestly have to be totally in love with that person.
He's my everything and he's given me the greatest gift ever in our son, I just adore him! We took our vows seriously, he has stayed with me through lyme and fibromyalgia and he picks up a lot of the slack at home when I can't do things, because before I got sick I took care of him when his arm got crushed in an industrial accident and he thought I'd leave him, but instead I was there to support him and take care of him...
Relationships are tough, but there is no game playing or drama on our parts... our drama comes from outsiders (family) but we handle everything head on together.
I hope things get better in your relationship, I wish everyone could have the kind of marriage I have, but I know I found a very rare man and I was so lucky to be the woman that found him! God Bless!

A hearty emoticon to the two of you. You are right it isn't always easy, but I did make a commitment before Almighty God. One of the most important things for me to enable me to treat my wife the way she deserves to be is for myself to get out of the way and know how important it is to share thing with her and NOT bottle them up inside. We celebrated 27 years this past June and I would be pleased to make it 27 more. Blessings to you and hubby! emoticon

This time 17 yrs ago I married my best friend and we met through a newspaper ad, that was the BEST decision I've ever made in my whole entire life!!!!!!!!!!!!
He has stuck with me through a lot (sickness, family issues) and I wish every woman could find a man like him , you don't know how your life is going to end up when your walking down that aisle. It hasn't been easy by no means, but we had each others backs along the way, in a world where people think marriage is disposable when things get rough, we've stuck together and it's made us stronger!
At midnight he gave me a rose and this morning breakfast in bed and he told me I'm the best thing that's ever happened to him, god blessed me with him for sure!
I love my husband with all my heart and appreciate him, he's the best! emoticon emoticon
