I never thought I'd be tobacco free, but I finally did it and you can too! That was my "life change" that added 10 pounds. But my scale is moving in the right direction again (yay for scales moving!!!), so don't let a few pounds in the beginning get you down. Being tobacco free is the best thing you can ever do for your health. I'm feeling like a new person already. It's an awesome feeling! You can do this!

That's great! After a life change situation, I gained 30 pounds! I just now started trying to get it all off, so you're an inspiration. Baby steps :) Keep up the great work!

Congratulations on making it half way! It sounds like you are firmly grounded and know what you need to do. What's the saying? "A goal without a plan is just a wish" No wishing here! Keep it up!

after life changes and gaining almost 20 lbs, i can proudly say that today, 10 of the 20 pounds are gone. my new short term goal is that other 10 pounds I gained. It's good and forward progress. I know that I'll reach my weight loss goals this year as I am going to concentrate on my health.

I've also slipped on the smoking side but tomorrow - I put on a patch and say goodbye to smoking forever.

I know that I alone (with the Grace of God) can make the needed changes in my life. I will no longer allow others to influence whether or not I can handle the stress in my day. The Lord is with me and will carry my load.
