Delish! I forgot to add - works awesome w/ apples or regular pears.
I'm eating one now - Mmmm!

Try this w/ PB2 Chocolate:

2 Tbsp PB2 Choc
2 Tbsp cocoa (good quality - I use Dutch process)
1 tsp cinnamon (I use Vietnamese Extra Fancy - whatever that means. It's super pungent & potent)

Mix together in a bowl.

Dip sliced Asian pears in it. The liquidity & sweetness of the pears combines w/ the powered ingredients and YUM! Let it sit on the tongue for a moment to meld the textures & flavors and so you don't "inhale" a bunch of powder (like my brother did - lol).

PS: if you have a spice store near you, try it for your cinnamon, cocoa, etc.. Couldn't believe the difference in taste vs mass mrkt spices.

I would try it in the microwave, but would add a little more liquid and make sure its covered. A few seconds should do it !

PB2 is good. I wonder can you put it in the microwave? I love love to heat my PB up!

I have been using powdered PB for a while now. I like it because I mix a small batch at a time and there is no chance of sneaking in an extra tablespoon for my snack.

I bought mine in a health store in Vero Beach , Fl. It is also sold in Amazon, much cheaper if bought in a large quantity. Recipes can be found under Bell Plantations ( they make this PB )
It tastes fine to me. I didn't like the chocolate combination however. taste wasn't strong enough for me. I don't see why this PB2 can't be used in regular recipes after it has been reconstituted.

I understand Trader Joe's carry it, but a different brand.

I have never heard of this or tried it.
Does it really taste good when it is reconstituted with water?
Any recipe suggestions?
Have you seen it in stores?

I have only tried pb2 chocolate. I have a jar of the regular pb2 I haven't tried yet. I love the chocolate. It doesn't taste like nutella, but it is a perfect peanut butter replacement for me. Peanut butter has always been a trigger food for me; I can easily eat half a jar and made my husband take it to work with him when I was pregnant so I wouldn't! Regular peanut butter now tastes too sticky to me. Pb2 is great because you only mix up one serving at a time. It is available as an add-on item from Amazon at a reduced cost.

Fitznut is OK

Byrd Mill dark roast is burnt tand bitter tasting, the light roast has no flavor.

Anyone tried the ProteinPlus peanut flour?
