Fructose is a type of sugar. It's the sugar found in fruits, specifically.
What's the purpose of using a sugar substitute for you? Do you want to cut calories? What kind of foods and drinks are you going to use this sugar substitute in? Personally I still use sugar in my coffee. I just limit the amount that I use.
I don't like the taste of artificial sweeteners. I don't consume them regularly. I use sugar in moderation.

I have been researching sugar substitutes and have found out that Fructose is actually a low glycemic sweetener that appears to be healthy for you. I am also researching Monk Fruit (PUREFRUIT) and sucrolose. Does anyone out there use any of these or have suggestions???
