Good for you, August! There is no good reason to put it off, and many good reasons to start now. Stay in touch as you progress. You can do this!

Hey, Hon! Welcome to spark! I (re-re-re-re-re)started my resolve to lose weight back in November, after losing about 10lbs after my dog had her puppies in July(July-late October is how long it took and bending and reaching and stretching to change newspaper bedding 3-8 times a day will really make one have to move around more!) The last puppy went to her new home in early November, and I just got sick and tired of being humungus. I started using spark again, and here I am!!!
The thing is to not let "bad" days make you completely give up. Don't be any harder on yourself than you would be on your best friend who had a bad eating day. Focus on making more healthy choices than unhealthy ones, and you WILL be successful.

Like many other people I pledge to lose weight in 2013. I feel so motivated and ready to change my life that I cant wait to start! lol Now of course this is not the first time I have started this journey but I feel like I have a different mind set now. My first goal is to lose 53lbs by my 26th birthday in August. Of course I have alot more than that to lose but its a start!! Anyone else losing weight for your new years resolution??
