Thank you all for the responses. Now I know where to look for ideas on how to keep moving while temporarily laid up with a bad knee.

Keep in touch! I appreciate the inspiration we all get on these message boards!

ND, Good Luck with the knee surgery! I've had a couple of hernia surgeries recently and I've used the SP seated core exercise following recovery to build back strength. It helped a lot. Check out the SP seated exercises I think they could help you. Take care.

Personally, I enjoy the Sweet Sensations Seated Workout by Tiffany Rothe -- it's a 12-minute video on YouTube that's fairly relaxed, but still picks up your heart rate. You can do a search for it. The SparkPeople seated workouts are good, too.

Greetings, Spark People!

I am having knee surgery this week and will be laid up for a month. During that time I will be doing some Physical Therapy exercises. I have been very active with walking, yoga, pilates, and strength training. For one month I need exercises to add to PT for upper body until I can walk and use my knee (legs!) again.

Suggestions are wanted for sitting exercises. Where do I look for SP videos? Other ideas?
