Find that inner spark or driving force that got you through the first 30 lbs. I'm sure that reason is still valid. Then press on and don't let outside influences or issues cause you to stumble. Make the choice to be healthy and fit for life a priority.

I also joined SP due to an employer incentive, it initially made no difference, but after a few false starts it stuck, which is one secret no one tells you, when I see someone start and fail, I say "they're one step closer to a long term lifestyle change," it's a good thing.

Definitely hang with us on the Guys Lounge, it's pretty active. Feel free to ask any questions or choose a soap box (esp. fitness related) to take a stand on and share with us what you're learning.

Thanks for sharing.

Good for you. I know how job stress can make the journey harder but you just need to persevere and realize that the the weight loss may come a little slower. If you keep track of your eating and exercise and pay attention to the numbers you will prevail.

I've been a member of this site for a few years and I've never been an active poster on the forums. I hope to change that this week. I signed up as part of a wellness program years ago that my employer paid for. Thanks to Spark People I lost 30lb and ran an 8 mile adventure race. I was 27 and living in a new city (Miami) and wanted to take control of my life. In December of last year I moved back to Tulsa, OK. I took a different position in my company and my stress level skyrocketed. I made some continuous backpedaling in my diet choices and started to exercise less and less. Next thing I know, I've put back on 20lb and my blood pressure is approaching hyper tension disorder. I picked up a tablet and a copy of the Spark to read on my breaks. So, here I am, ready to rekindle that Spark and this time I am going to keep up my streaks. I've got the inspirational pictures on my fridge to remind me of what I'm fighting for and I'm not giving up, setbacks or not.
