hi everyone
so I recently started exercising regularly again after a long break of being lazy and smoking, but I quit smoking and decided to get fit again. I started off really slow because I didn't want to do myself in an injury (and I'm not that fit).
So I have been doing jump rope workouts, just short ones like 10 minutes every two days, 60 min power walks every day (this is how I travel to work and have always done this so I don't think its the walking causing the bad knees) and then strength training, just small amounts like full body resistance band workouts and I only lift 5lb weights but recently my knees have been pretty painful, I have never had knee pain before, I'm 26, not over weight and have no health conditions that I know of, so why are my knees refusing to co-operate with me? Has anyone else experienced this problem? what do you think I should do?
