I'm usually around 2 pounds heavier at night than in the morning, for whatever reason (water, food weight, ??).

Yeah, I prefer to only weigh in the morning too, but when I started with spark I was "weird" about food & weigh-ins.

So I'd weigh throughout the day ... least now I know not to stress over that TOM (I gain 3 lbs and need 300 more calories per day) and I know what weight I need to be to fit in my pants all the way through dinner ... so I weigh myself in the evenings to see if, after all the food and water is consumed, I can comfortably wear the same pants all day long.

I'm with STANSLOVIE - always in the morning before I even have my coffee. Night is about 3 lbs more.

I learned early on in this weight loss thing to always weigh in the morning.

Mine can be 2 or 3lbs more in the evenings than in the morning.

If I had a scale I'd weigh myself every morning. But my floor is not even and I don't know if it would cause the scale to be off or not. So I weigh myself during my lunch break (usually) at work. Sometimes I forget but I always make sure it's before I eat my lunch. I don't want to add on the pounds I consumed.

I never weigh myself at night - seeing how much I "gain" during the day would either depress me or cause me to fall of the wagon...or both!

I never weigh myself at night -- I can't stand seeing the scale go UP!

I agree definitely water weight plus the intake of calories throughout the day. I normally see a 2 lb uptake at night.

I prefer morning, at the end of the day you've exercised and eaten, so it will usually be higher

I'd never done this comparison before, but when I saw this topic I figured I'd do it last night.

I weighed 2.5 pounds more last night than I did that morning.

I'm going to stick with weighing once a week! Haha.

It's been very rare that my evening weigh in is less than a morning weigh in.

When comparing morning that weight of that same night, it is almost always hirer. The most I have seen is about 6 pounds up. I could count the number of times the evening weight is actually lower on one hand, but it has happened. My morning weights are always lower then that of the previous evening. It drops anywhere from 0.4 to 4 pounds.

I weigh about 5 lbs more when I go to bed than when I got up.

It's from food and also water - water is heavy!

My record differential is 7 pounds.
And I did not eat an extra 24,500 calories to get it!

6 pounds were gone the next morning.
2 pounds left the morning after that.

I know morning to night fluctuations are normal and caused by water retention, food intake, working out etc etc...

I'm just curious how much your weight fluctuates from morning to night.
