If you have a smart phone, you can download a free app that can do the conversions. I downloaded one onto my phone. I like to use the rowing machine as part of my workout routine. I like knowing my distance in miles and not meters (which is typical for rowing). I do all my cardio early in the morning (really early - before or around sunrise) and it is too early for me to be think about converting meters to miles. Anyway, it works for me. As a side note, I am one of those impatient people and I am a wildlife biologist...so you'd probably think that doing conversions would be easy to remember.

 ANARIE Posts: 13,200 5/13/13 12:53 P Also, 2 TBS is half of 1/4 cup. If you're looking at something that says "serving (1/4 cup)", you can type in .5 instead of 1 serving. If all of this is confusing, Google "converting fractions to decimals" or borrow a 6th grade math book from the library. This is stuff you knew in school but have forgotten, and it won't take more than an hour or so to re-learn it. It comes in really handy and saves time in the long run. (Losing weight also makes you good at math! Who knew?)
 BLBST36 Posts: 351 5/13/13 12:38 P There are no other choices in the drop down? Only cup? If not, then you will just have to use decimals. There are 16 tablespoons in 1 cup. 2/16 = 0.125 - that's how much of a cup 2 tbsp are

 SHININGDRAGON SparkPoints: (7,169) Fitness Minutes: (17,462) Posts: 17 5/13/13 12:26 P Hi there When I enter the amount of quinoa I cook to my tracker, I would like to be able to enter 2 tbsp instead of the quarter cup that is suggested in the choices; at the moment I have to enter the quarter cup and it puts me over the top of my daily lunch calories. Any ideas?
